I wish I could tell you that this is me relaxing. Unfortunately, it's been a busy weekend for me with little chance for relaxation. No doubt a hammock will be waiting and empty just when I most need it which should be real soon. lol
Wanted to share an e-mail sent to me by a friend which indicates that two Moons will be visible on 27 August '06. It says that Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August 2006. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye.This will culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65 M miles to Earth.
Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the Earth has two Moons. Don't Miss it.....The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Share this information with your friends as no one alive today will ever see it again. Have a great week and let me know whether you were able to view the two moons in your area.

Some funny Stuff
There is nothing more serious on my mind this very blessed Sunday than to pass along to you some funny stuff I lifted off a newsy e-mail from a friend...entitled

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

Something for us to Think About - the high cost of gas.
As my car is now back from the garage, it now hits me just how the cost of purchasing gas has become recently. A record high of approximately $12 per gallon. The car is such a convenience, but I may have to use it sparingly until school re-opens when it will be pressed full-time back into commission to ferry the children everywhere. Until then, however, I will continue my daily walk (which last about 15 mins. each way) from home to my workplace.

The Mouse
Hello bloggers, it is the beginnings of a busy Saturday morning and I am checking through some past e-mails before deleting them. Came across this story about a mouse who needed help. Thought y'all might enjoy this one......
THE MOUSE STORY
A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package. What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered- he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap. Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning. There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!" The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."
The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!" The pig sympathized, but said, "I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers.
"The mouse turned to the cow and said "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!" The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose."So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.
That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital, andshe returned home with a fever. Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.
But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig. The farmer's wife did not get well, she died. So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.
So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem, you should rem ember -- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk. We are all involved in this journey called life. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.
REMEMBER: EACH OF US IS A VITAL THREAD IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY; OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER FOR A REASON.

A Sure Way To A Happy Day
HAPPINESS is something
