Tough Times Never Last!

Good morning !!!

It's a rainy Saturday morning and I am planning to have some coffee to get things going on the right foot.

The Good Things about Saturday mornings = Kids sleeping in, no school. Mom able to blog visit, no work today :)

This morning when God opened a window to Heaven, He saw me and asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded: "Please, take care of the person who is reading this post, their family and friends."

The love of God is like the ocean. You can see its beginning but not its end. Angels exist. However, since they don't all have wings, we call them friends.
Be safe and God Bless.

There is A Song Inside Each Heart That Never Stops Singing

I finally made the switch from the old blogger to the new blogger. It was getting difficult to upload photos on the old blogger server which finally led me into making the switch.

For those of you who have not switched over as yet, you will find it difficult to leave a comment at my blog unless you have a google account. The other option you have is for you to go into the old blogger and open your dashboard. Leave the dashboard open while you post and publish your comment.

That being said, I have been keeping quite busy in the first two weeks of the new year. At the workplace, new employees and new challenges = a new opportunity to make a significant difference with the human resources which manage our country's health system. At home, we are recovering from the seasonal festivities and the school year has started off intensively with lots of homework and new school projects.

Altogether said, 2007 looks to be a year filled with busy times ahead. It is also the year I make a determined effort to get back into the gym. Wish me luck with that one!!

Here is a beautifully stated thought for this week--

"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin."

Hope, like Love, Transcends All Time

1. Wake up and decide to have a good day. "Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24

2. Dress up. The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. The Lord looks at your heart." Samuel 16:7

3. Shut up and say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips, guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3

4. Stand up for what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look up to the Lord. "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

6. Reach up for something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-6

7. Lift up your heart, voice and mind in prayer. "Do not worry about anything; instead pray about everything" Philippians 4:6

The Secret
One day, one friend asked another, "How is it that you are always so happy? You have so much energy and you never seem to get down." To which she replied, "I'll tell you all about it, but you have to promise to share the Secret with others." "The Secret is this: I have learned that there is little I can do in my life that will make me truly happy. I must depend on God to make me happy and to meet my needs. When a need arises in my life, I have to trust God to supply according to His riches. I have learned that most of the time I don't need half of what I think I do. He has never let me down. Since I've learned that 'Secret', I am happy." The questioner's first thought was, "That's too simple!" But upon reflecting over her own life she recalled how she thought a bigger house would make her happy, but it didn't! She thought a better paying job would make her happy, but it hadn't. When did she realize her greatest happiness? Sitting on the floor with her children, playing games, eating pizza or reading a story. A simple gift from God. Now you know it too! We can't depend on people to make us happy. Only God in His infinite wisdom can do that. Trust in Him! Now, you know the Secret ... that God in His wisdom will take care of you too! You just have to believe it and really trust God!
