There is A Song Inside Each Heart That Never Stops Singing

I finally made the switch from the old blogger to the new blogger. It was getting difficult to upload photos on the old blogger server which finally led me into making the switch.

For those of you who have not switched over as yet, you will find it difficult to leave a comment at my blog unless you have a google account. The other option you have is for you to go into the old blogger and open your dashboard. Leave the dashboard open while you post and publish your comment.

That being said, I have been keeping quite busy in the first two weeks of the new year. At the workplace, new employees and new challenges = a new opportunity to make a significant difference with the human resources which manage our country's health system. At home, we are recovering from the seasonal festivities and the school year has started off intensively with lots of homework and new school projects.

Altogether said, 2007 looks to be a year filled with busy times ahead. It is also the year I make a determined effort to get back into the gym. Wish me luck with that one!!

Here is a beautifully stated thought for this week--

"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin."

I like that thought... I've seen it before many times, recently as well.

2007 looks to be a big year for me too. I look forward to following along with you in your life/blog as you have been in mine.

Beta seems to have settled down somewhat. I guess once everyone has switched, it will be better. It appears that many issues have been addressed, but, of course, new ones have surfaced.

Sounds like you're ready and raring to go into 2007.

Good luck and God bless in your family life and in meeting your goals of "making a difference".

2007 has started out with new changes and challenges for me. i've not only switched over to the new blogger, but i'm rennovating my palace.

i've never had a fight with my best friend. maybe that's why she's my best friend. we've been friends since age 15, and we're really closer than some sisters.

i've lost about 10 lbs so far. not going to the gym, but doing it on my own right now. i wish you the best in achieving your goals enid.

Just getting caught up with my blog visits. I like your positive attitude for what's ahead. I think 2007 will be a good year and hopefully somewhat less hectic.

I was reading about Belize recently. Someone wrote a book claimimg that you can retire there and live on $US600 a month. Is that possible?

Happy New Year

PS..nice music.

I fear the new Blogger and refuse to change over as I'm certain it will crash the "Dew" somehow.

I love anyone that listens to Air Supply! (It's one of those hidden vices usually!)

Finally, thanks so much for linking to the Dew - hope you're enjoying it.

Good Morning Enid,
How is life in the tropics?
I have no idea what the new blogger is or how to access it. I can't even post a photo. Such issues.

Work is now 6 days a week. And the hours are just going to get longer due to local activities. Like the Super Bowl and the Miami International boat show. Nasty and cold weather up north makes our location very desirable.

I bought a motorcycle last week and had my first lesson. The smile is still on my face. With my schedule it was just easier to buy my own and learn on my time. Like mornings before work.

How are the kids doing?

Have an awesome day!!

Hi, Enid, it was nice to see you visit my blog. I have switched to the new version as well, now that I finally(!) have my new computer. I like what you have done with your blog. I rather like the music as well. My friend and I went to see Air Supply at the River Rock Casino a few weeks ago, and they were really great!

Great thought for the week you've chosen.

Cheers,
Josie

Enid: Great to read this. Very refreshing! I am so moved every time I come here and see your big hearted supportiveness of Sahara. Those of us from the bus project are following her progress too! lol!

hi enid. i've switched to the new blogger months ago. i was scared to do so at first because i might lose everything i wrote so i saved my codes just in case. so far, so good and i must admit, it's easier using this one than the old blogger. i'm glad i made the switch. anyway, i wish you all the best this 2007. God bless!

Nice bit of wisdom in that thought at the end. And, it's true. Also, each hearbreak and pitfall we surmount can only make us stronger and better.
Thank you,
Ian

Enid, who said the quote? I believe the words wholeheartedly; it is in the follow-through that is difficult. I will continue to try, though. That's something :)
