It's Official, Christmas is here!!

I've been in denial all along folks. Burying myself in work, school, etc. All that is over, it's official that Christmas is here.

It's official because of my 9-year old who swept me off to her Christmas pageant whereupon I sat enthralled for the next hour or so whilst the beauty and wonder of the talented tiny tots and not so tiny tots were on proud display. Here are some photos of a Christmas pageant in the tropics:

The Christmas Play was brilliantly produced and had musical accompaniments from the Junior and Senior Choir, three violinists, a pianist and the Choir Mistress. It was nice to see the flashing smiles and twinkling toes of the middle schoolers as well as the tiny angels waiting patiently to take their turn on the stage under the floodlights. This year's pageant had a special quality and I was glad to be there. Yes, finally Christmas 2007 is officially here! How are your Christmas preparations coming along?

I loved having my kids in pageants and Christmas programs. I do miss seeing that.

I do believe we are very lucky to not be living where some of our blogging friends are. They are snowed in. Yikes. I like it tropical and warm.

Have an awesome week.

Good Morning Enid,
you are the 1st one I am blogging, Bryon and I have made it home safely, Wednesday the 6th as we were on the road to Idaho to go visit My Father who had been quite ill in the hospital, passed away before i could get there, we had funeral severices yesterday. I visited your site because of the beautiful post you have here, it is so comforting, I miss my father, and know that he is in a better place with God and has now met back up with his parents and my oldest brother Mike, yet there are so many other feelings right now. I am just thankful that Bryon and My Daughters Tiffany and Kimberly also Kim's husband Dan were there with me, there has been such a terrible rip in our family for so many years. 6 living brothers and sisters. But what a Beautiful Funeral! My dad had it all planned and paid for! he even has the plot next to him ready for mom, well Thank You Enid, Please let the others know for me, as I just dont feel up to blogging, but they can e-mail me, and from there i cangive them personal info if they would like, however, sylvia does have my home phone number. God Bless you...
Hugs,
Wanda

There's nothing like the school Christmas pageant to get you into the Christmas spirit. I totally agree!

Wonderful pictures.

Happy Monday to you Enid,
How is the month of December treating you so far? As I watch the news in Florida and see all the snow and ice storms in the mid west I think of you and all the tropical delight ;-} you had to endure this past summer.
I do believe our weather system is going a little of center right now for sure.
How are your Christmas plans coming along? My daughter and I baked yesterday. Just some Christmas cookies, etc.

Have an awesome day.
